My cat has special needs and loves this backpack! I also! Being deaf, my cat loves going out into the garden on her harness to watch the birds and the leaves blowing in the wind. She enjoys it almost as much as her companion dog! So I decided to try a cat backpack so she can walk the dog with us and enjoy the great outdoors even more. The main thing is that you like it! Her special needs include CH (which causes balance problems and dizziness) and she is deaf. As a result, she has difficulty sitting or standing while moving. With this backpack she can lie down and enjoy the wall without getting dizzy (I walk very carefully while carrying it in my backpack). She immediately climbed in and settled into her new bubble as soon as I unwrapped her. She even stayed inside for almost an hour and started playing with the inner harness. Our adventures so far have been a success and the backpack is very stable for her and comfortable for me. I can easily tighten the straps so it's more secure on my back and doesn't bounce around. The only thing I would recommend is to consider the outside temperature when going on your own adventures with this backpack. It looks like it will get very hot at higher temperatures. I will buy a small portable fan to attach to the vents to circulate the air.
