At first the price was tough for me But after trying so many litter boxes and they all failed to stop urine running down my walls I decided I needed a one piece cube and a few that did .The high rear litter boxes were usually in two parts, and the urine always found its way into this small seam and ran out the back or directly onto the walls. The price paid for not having urine on the tray Walls, this do cats like this to be honest i think it has taken the place of their favorite tray back no they can use this as a regular drawer, go in front and go in front my cats do that they are over the top very embarrassed.I am also buying this for my two older cats and one of them still can't jump up. No, we use it like a normal box. Also, the front door is not fixed and you don't have to use it. I had no intention of using this thing so I was glad it wasn't plugged in. It's there if you want to install it. I like the lift cover for cleaning. Although the trap on it seems like it won't survive. As for cleaning and scooping, I agree with others. The reason for not rating one star is the rounded back. It's hard to get it, huh. If you use a stuffing scoop or a regular stuffing scoop, you'll have trouble scooping out the backrest. It can be done, it just takes longer. You can also buy a "small round-edged shovel" that will make the job easier. I also try not to use a liner or garbage bag in this box. I think it will make digging more difficult. But why or why is the back of this tray rounded? Otherwise I recommend.
