I received these curtains this afternoon and my immediate reaction was overwhelmingly positive. We recently bought a gray damask duvet cover and knew it would be next to impossible to mix and match the shades of gray online. So this ombre pattern was perfect as it offers a range of bluish gray tones including our quilt. The fabric is nice and the print is crisp. They're not as thick as the curtains I usually think of when I see "blackout"; However, they filter out quite a bit of light and appear to "glow" in backlight. We hung them in front of a set of curtains so we could double them up to filter out even more light. Speaking of doubles, if you have a wide window you'll likely need two sets or more (depending on the width you order) if you want a fuller build on the bar. I knew this was likely to be the case but wanted to make sure the color matched the quality of the fabric before buying two sets. In general I am very satisfied. I'm curious if they help keep our bedroom cooler in the summer or warmer in the winter.
