I bought two woolen blankets around the same time. One is half the price of this one. This is much better quality. This blanket is of much lower quality than those five times more expensive. This is a hard, non-exciting, very warm wool blanket. Worth the price. Treat it like wool. So it will not look like silk. It's heavy, so it doesn't look like fleece. It smells like wool and went away after about a week of doing nothing but sleeping with it. It is durable and can easily last a lifetime and be passed on to other generations. A hunting camp or a winter cabin is ideal. I use it every day. Wool is very difficult to clean, don't be lazy.
