Sufficient for most jobs.
Check and measure the snap bags before purchasing. This one worked for me on fabric, but the posts were a bit short for heavy leather work and I barely had enough "grip" to hold the joined pieces together. Another 1/8 inch would be better for leather work. However, I did fix a good pair of Wrangler jeans (belt loop broke getting off the truck), half a tent, and a Leatherman tool case, so it more than paid off. himself with only this repair.
