BagThe bag itself is excellent. The top closure is wire reinforced and holds its shape well. The entire inner and outer perimeter is decorated with small pockets. The zipper is well sewn. The legs at the bottom are great. Shoulder Strap The shoulder strap feels too small and the padding is some of the thinnest I've seen and feels like cheap plastic. The shoulder strap doesn't look like it will "come" with the bag and is generally of lower quality. Pros: The bag itself is very beautiful, durable and well made. The zipper is large and easy to use. It holds my soldering equipment well and causes no complaints. The Bad: It has a terrible chemical smell, like the smell from an imported tool store or low-quality rubber products from a dollar store or discount hardware store. I think the worst thing is the strap, especially the rubber part which I had to take out of the house because it smelled so bad. I think the bag itself is fine, but the smell hasn't completely gone. I recommend removing the rubber part of the strap as the bag will probably be fine if it's aired out enough, rinse the strap with vinegar and water, put in the sun and let air out. Conclusion: If you don't need a strap or are taking steps to eliminate odors, this is a great product and works very well.
