I'm really very surprised it worked so well. This sharpened my koi scissors to a razor blade. I can literally shave with it after sharpening the flat side with another tool. That is the main omission in this case. You will need a second rod of tungsten or titanium to make the flat side of the blade. It won't quite fit in. So if you don't have it, don't really sharpen it. And deploying both blades at the same time and clamping them while you retract them as planned is a bad idea for many reasons. They just didn't think of anything when they made this keychain.
