Worked great so well it showed a flaw in the GM wiring design
Speaker adapter was OK. This made it easier to swap out bad old GM speakers for new ones. The cable adapters had a problem, the problem was that 10 years of GM connector corrosion didn't work well with the new cable adapters. I had to cut every GM connector and solder/butt every connection. GM connectors are so small that you can't clean them properly, so you can also use adapters to extend the speaker wiring.
