magnifying glasses work perfectly. The 60x and 90x objectives are too small to be really useful. You need to get the lens very close to the subject and your eye very close to the lens and tilt it so you can see clearly. It's doable, but not without a lot of effort. Lights are useful and bright if you can get them to turn on. They are very buggy and require jiggling to get them working. Overall these are just good products and will do for what I bought them for. They will do what you need, but don't expect high quality.
