Review on π AudioQuest Evergreen 1m RCA to RCA Cable - 3.28ft/3'4" Length by Todd Look
Stay away from these
I used these connections between the phono stage and the turntable. The setup is a Project Carbon, Cambridge Audio Solo and Cambridge CXA 80. I had a very noticeable hum from the Ca Solo when nothing was playing. Touching the evergreen links would change the volume of the noise. I ended up replacing the evergreens with some old monsters (950s I think). The monster cable greatly reduced the noise. I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the Audioquest cables. Keep in mind that the noise isn't very noticeable when the stylus is dropped and you're playing music, but it's there. And of course I checked the grounding, it works fine. I even tried
