You can screw it onto a grease gun if the Zerk connector doesn't work for you.

I didn't like the included grease fitting - it didn't fit tight enough to use successfully. I liked that the grease fitting was unscrewed and then the body and part of the needle were screwed onto the tube of my grease gun so I could insert it into the (tiny) universal joint port and properly lubricate the gimbal. This tool saved my truck's front universal joints and spent about 20 minutes greasing instead of hours and a lot more money replacing those joints.
