What's the difference. from the noisiest bike on a group ride to the quietest. Now my bike shifts smoothly. I had no idea how much a worn chain affects shifting performance and transmission noise levels. I also put a SRAM cassette in the rear which I'm sure will not hurt if I go from 11-25 to 11-28 in the rear. The included quick link worked perfectly. I took out a few links with my Crank Bros multi-purpose chain tool, leaving 2 more links than the original chain to accommodate the larger cassette cogs. It feels like the better chain also resulted in a slight speed increase, maybe 1/4 mph.
