What an exceptional set! Like many others, the pandemic has inspired me to take care of my hair. Also, my barber has been losing a lot of weight with haircuts lately. Considering I'm incredibly inexperienced and know nothing about hair shears, I love what I bought! This set arrived in its own box, not a large Amazon box filled with air. It seemed difficult, which I immediately took as a good sign. It looked like a quality weight. I opened it and was delighted with the packaging! The scissors, razor, and comb were all in thick plastic cases, not thin, crappy plastic. It feels like a real effort was made during the presentation. As for the scissors, I just shortened my length a bit and they cut like a dream. People who compare slicing to slicing butter are incredibly accurate! I tried the razor on my arm hair (I have almost none) and it worked like magic. The case is also solid and looks well made. I'm so glad I got this set. I love yellow gold and bright gems, I feel like it was made especially for me, but ridiculously affordable considering how much I spend at the salon. My only concern is the long term quality of the gold finish. I showed some pretty dirty fingers and immediately saw fingerprints. I'll probably make an effort to wipe the fuzz off after using them. I also wish the scissors had a slightly sharper tip, but maybe a rounded tip would make it less likely to cut your fingertips. BUY THIS SET! It's great and functional.
