This is the first golf trainer I have purchased (other than the Men's Cave Putting Green Token). I'm usually a bit hesitant because the market is flooded with devices that eliminate every imaginable disadvantage of Swing. It was first aid that as soon as I saw it in practice I immediately understood what it was trying to affect in my swing and how it would work to positively change that imperfection. This is evidenced by my diagonal marks on the arrow. With my wedges and shorter irons this creates a controlled fade. For long irons, hybrids, fairway woods and my driver, this turn creates complete chaos with inconsistency. I've known this about my backswing for almost three years and finally tried to fix it. The best thing about Speed Trap is that it gives instant feedback. With every shot you have both audible and tactile feedback, telling you if your path and contact was good or not. The easy-release foam grips will fly (not too far) if you touch one of them due to a wrong plane spin. The sound of fat bouncing can be identified by the "crack” as it hits the plastic base. It took me a few days of practice to get movements that were both on level and in close contact with the ball, but I FINALLY feel like I'm on the way to correcting most of my golf inconsistencies.
