I have a 2008 Dyna Wide Glide. They don't just slide around. Think about it, its purpose is to be an intermediary between the rubber and the solid. I took out the B pillar, used some WD-40 and took two thin C-clamp bars, they go right in with some elbow grease. Did this upgrade when going from Mini Apes to 14" Wild 1 Outlaws. Still decent vibration isolation but now I don't feel like I'm rowing a boat every time I take a ride. 11/ 10 would buy again.For heaven's sake don't cut them off, stop and think about the most efficient way to install them and follow the necessary steps without going down the easy route that will rob the product of its functionality could.
