Fantastic filter for Betta aquarium
Have been using this and the smaller version for almost 2 years now. Placement in the aquarium is easy and unobtrusive, and it aerates very well without much fuss. Immediately and visibly sucks residual deposits out of the water after vacuuming and lasts about 3 months before it needs to be replaced. You can also run the large and small pumps simultaneously with a 10 gallon air pump (although adding flow valves is highly recommended in this case). I swear by these little guys.
