Review on DT Swiss ER1600 Spline Wheel Sports & Fitness by Darryel Tokarczyk

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Significant improvement in ride quality

I have a Breezer Inversion Pro which is a 23 pound steel framed gravel bike. Comfortable frame, good shaman circuit but a bit sluggish with original rims and tires. Swapping out the DT Swiss rear wheel and 38mm TrailKing Slicks+ drastically changed the ease of pedaling (even more so with the later optional front wheel). No one will mistake my bike for a fast road bike, and $400 for one wheel (and $300 for the front wheel) is a real investment, but I'm very glad I did. I'm actually getting stronger and I'm not just making time for cardio; A good bike encourages great effort for pleasure.
