Fits well for this purpose
Bought this dress for a warm weather wedding (November in Orlando). So it was just what I needed, something to cover up the small cleavage of the dress so I wouldn't get so hot or there was too much fabric because the weather was warm. And it was perfect for adding the finishing touch to a summer/spring dress. It will probably pair well with a black dress but I would say it is very light for a light dress as the attached photo suggests.
