I originally bought a non-polarized pair from Academy Sports ($75) but got the impression they were polarized. When I found out that I had been misled and that I could get a real polarized pair from Revain for $83, I returned my first pair and ordered these. I was a little concerned that a shady seller on Revain might send me a fake or counterfeit pair as the price was reduced by $50. When I received them I checked all the markings, polarization and box. You will see "WileyX Z87-2+" on the frame and above the inside of the nose, also there is a "POLARIZED" mark in the lower left corner of the left eye, but you have to look carefully. They come with a hard case, lanyard, and microfiber cleaning cloth. CHVAL08 is also marked on the side of the box. As for performance. I have Oakley Prism Polarized lenses on a pair of Fives Squared, and I've also had Iridium Black polarized lenses in the past. WlieyX lenses are almost as good as Oakley lenses, but much more durable and shatterproof. The WileyX is better for shooting, hardcore hitting, or for those who prefer to save $20-$100 over some Oakleys. Overall I think both companies have 5 stars but still give Oakley (made in USA, probably the best lenses in the world but they are more expensive) a slight edge.
