These crayons are suitable for children and maybe beginners, but not for those who are serious about drawing with crayons. I made a simple sketch to try this out and after many layers I still couldn't reach saturation with these pencils, they feel very waxy and don't blend well. (see photos) The canvas film is wonderful, holds pens very well and looks very well constructed. This set also includes a small pencil sharpener. I've tried it and it works as it should, but it seems a bit small and cheap, but it's the perfect size to fit in this holder and carry around. It also comes with a pen extender so if your pen gets too small you can slip it in and have a longer pen to work with. I love this thing! The best things in this set are the pen holder and the extender, the pens are really poor quality but they will be good for kids. This is a pretty good set for the price. I will put my good colored pencils, extenders and sharpener in the package and give these pencils to my niece and nephew. I would recommend this set to people looking for colored pencils for kids or maybe someone else. who makes coloring pages for adults, but I wouldn't recommend them to any serious artist. However, the canvas sheet and pen extender are great, I would buy this set just for them. roll up
