Review on ISTA Aquarium Fish Tank Compact Syphon Cleaner: Efficient Water Filter and Gravel Leveler by Aquarium Equip by Katie Allen

Works great in my small 2.5 gallon aquarium. I use it both for removing dirt from the floor and for water changes. It would be nice to have a longer hose, a stronger bucket clamp and at least one more extension. Without an additional extension, the vacuum cleaner is difficult to maneuver around the tank because of the interference of the piston. A display that shows when the valve is open and when it is closed would also be nice. But the suction is very good and fast and I like that it has a very small vacuum port so I can target debris in the tank. I ordered some extensions and a real vacuum nozzle (now I only use the punched end of the extension because using the clear part doesn't provide enough suction at the low suction speed I use on my tiny tank). All in all a great purchase. For a small aquarium this is a good idea as the larger ones just suck the water out VERY quickly.
