We have Scotty and they have big heads and long bodies so I ordered a size XL based on the length of his back. He weighs 28 pounds. The elastic around the leg openings is quite tight. The material is very nice, soft and cute sloth design. I'm not sure if he can wear it because even the XL size fits him. It's so damn cute I hate to return it. The neck opening is ok, only the back leg openings are narrow. I already cut off the tag so not sure if I can return it as I understand it. After he pulled himself over his head, neck and front legs, I cut off the tag before putting on his back legs and saw that they were too tight. He definitely needs an XL, so they run small. This is not an XL size dog.
