I used Blue Sea Systems' built in thermal switch on the way to my inverter. works great (I wanted to break power to the inverter by isolating the battery pack). nothing special happens. It's a fancy melted hoop. I really like how he has a hoop for negativity. and since it's a fancy power rail I have a fancy application. I used it in the opposite way it was designed. works perfectly. I have 12x 35ah SLA: one on each bus and then the main wires go to the inverter on 1 gauge wire. I couldn't have planned a better product. I easily fit into the amperage, the whole system doesn't break at all and does what I ask. I use SAE quick disconnects with two batteries connected to both the battery and the fuse box so one day each battery can be disconnected to move the system. This build is quite expensive but it is VERY safe which is what I was aiming for and ensures rock solid same battery health on all batteries as the inverter which is presented with a very large battery and no battery is used. more than the next. it is very good for standby or cyclic operation of battery inverter system in such use. I have a small inverter with a 1000W continuous pure sine wave. Watch the current. It can be a very good fuse strip, but anything used incorrectly will melt if you try to draw three times its rated power through it. I bet this product will handle 100 amp 100% duty cycle as it is rated. Quality product for its price.
