Review on ZYLISS 3-Piece Knife Set: Enhance your Kitchen with Sheath Covers, made with Stainless Steel by Christine Zuniga

Unfortunately, I have joined the ranks of those who cut BADLY.

Well big green is SHARP. I used this thing to carve an unholy you-know-what out of my finger. Right into a vein. You really need to go get some stitches. So sharp - yes! Seems sturdy, feels good etc. Obviously I need to work on my knife skills. The first time I used it; I'll have to see how the rust problem goes. I washed it, dried thoroughly with paper towels, then lightly oiled and dried with another paper towel before wrapping it, so we'll see. Rust seems to be the main complaint with these knives. I will update the review if the rusting issue proves insurmountable even with the steps outlined previously. If I have to have more problems, they are not worth their REALLY high price. If it works, the price is worth it! You know, I should have gotten a cut resistant glove with that cleaver I bought. Maybe I should find it better. Update March 4, 2020: My finger is healing well, thanks! It took a while because the cut was so deep I had to keep it closed for a long time which slows healing. Now that it's healed enough to leave open, the healing has accelerated significantly. That's not supposed to be an overview of my cut, is it? So far, the rust softening process has worked flawlessly. Dry your knives promptly and COMPLETELY, including where the knife meets the handle, BEFORE oiling and putting back in the pocket, because if moisture is present, the oil will simply float to the top and allow it to rust. So far, so good! Great knives for the price!
