I bought this as a gift for my nephew who I taught to cook when he visited during quarantine. He had never used a real knife and when he recently got his own house I gave him this knife to start his collection. His texts to me"Coolest. Gift. Ever!" Honestly, as a professional chef, I probably wouldn't buy this for myself (I already have Henckels and Wustoffs), but for a beginner and/or intermediate chef. Chef, this knife is AWESOME! And I have to admit (albeit reluctantly) that this knife looks cool, AF. I chopped up some veggies with it before giving it to him and right out of the box it was razor sharp, well balanced and easy to use. Definitely a 5 star purchase. Highly recommended for everyone.
