I've wanted something to cover my arms for a long time but I don't want to put on another layer as my body is starting to overheat. I'm a snowboarder and my hands get cold on the lift, but I'm fine. After running, my hands get warm and my body heats up almost to the point of sweating (which is not good in very cold weather). These sleeves are the perfect solution. My hands don't get too hot so I can cover them up as much as I want by applying the perfect amount of base coat to keep my body temperature perfectly neutral. I actually bought two sets of these pairs one size up so I can double up if needed. Now I have no more problems with temperature control and thanks to these little gems I feel comfortable at any temperature. I highly recommend them for the purposes I've just explained or if you just need that little extra bit of extra protection for your hands. And when the temperature rises, just take them off, they're great for running and cycling too! UPDATE: After about a year, they still offer a ton of benefits. I've never felt so warm in winter and when the temperature rises they can be easily removed without removing any gear. It was really great!
