We came across this product after our 6 year old tortoiseshell cat was bored sitting next to an electric heater on a cold day. She decided to chew on the 120 volt power cord (!). Luckily we caught her before she finished chewing. However, she made a lot of small holes in the insulation. However, this cable protection quickly put an end to this activity. Not only was the cord too big for her to chew comfortably, her teeth couldn't even get close to the exposed wire. The product arrived very quickly, much faster than I expected, a day or two after ordering. costs from 5-10 dollars...if not less. No way is it worth $15. Except when you have a pet who wants to commit suicide and burn the damn house down at the same time. THEN it costs $15.
