These racks are perfect for storing your helmet, motorcycle jacket/pants/suit. It is strongly recommended not to use the included drywall screws and anchors. for nothing but a hat. For heavy equipment, you can use a drill to drill two holes "in the middle" of the mounting plate to attach the hanger to the rack, or mount the hanger to a heavy wooden board and then attach it to the wall studs. I currently use mine to hold an XL helmet, full leather jacket and pants, and mesh jacket hanging on hangers and hanging under the helmet.
