I won't go into detail about this knife as from the many good reviews you can probably already tell it will be a good buy. I can tell you that I have kind of a knife obsession and when I was about to buy a new knife of this size I really didn't want to buy this (IMO) brand name knife. Considering such a price, I decided to take a risk and buy. I have to say I was very satisfied when I received the knife, the construction is very solid. What surprised me the most was the quality of the blade, as I said I have many knives and out of all of them one has the second longest blade after the Santoku with the VG10 layered blade. . The manufacturer of this knife, KAI, also makes Kershaw knives.
