Review on Large Brown Dot Dog Bed House - Waterproof, Washable Pet Hideout Cage with Cushion - Ideal for Medium Dogs by Janice Wilson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not as big as you might think and sags in the middle, unlike the product picture

Soft, plush, has a handle, easy to attach. Comes vacuum packed and folded. I let it air out a day after taking it out of the box. Then let it sit for a week thinking it would recover, but the crease from shipping persisted, resulting in permanent 1-1.5 inch sag down the center. It's not ideal. The product photo does not look like it was ever folded, vacuum packed and shipped worldwide in a shipping container. The roof of the house is not waterproof, but the floor is covered with vinyl. It is made for indoor use. I put it outside under the porch, protected from the weather on the north, east, and west sides, so everything should be fine. I also bought a heated cat bed (the smallest size) and placed it in the back of the house for warmth. It zips up inside the pillow to stay in place. No matter how cold it is, a wild cat will always be warm. He has another unheated open bed next to this one so he can keep it as warm as he likes. Please spay and neuter your cats folks. By the way, it took the cat less than 5 minutes to get in and enjoy her new heated home. He is (now) a big cat and fits well. Update 12/23/19: End flap with zip opening works but does not stay closed after zip. The zipper part separates easily. Broken zipper. Update 2-6-21: Since my last update, the feral cat has decided not to try to get in again. He finished rolling it up (a broken zipper didn't help) and lay on top of it until it lay flat. The good news is that the kitty was a sweetheart, neighbor and caretaker who was so loved that he found a new home! The bed went in the trash.
