They lock securely and hold

These are cylinder locks that will keep your gear securely where it needs to be. I replaced my flimsy cylinder locks with these and am very happy with the result. If I need more cylinder locks I will buy them. They fit my shoelaces, sleeping bag cords, loose gear pouches, etc. I haven't used them with 550 paracord but I'm sure they will hold this type of gear. very good. It would be a little tricky to thread the paracord through the holes, so be sure to burn the ends before trying.
