Review on Hakko 633 01 Iron Holder Cleaner by Joshua Days

I thought this would be the right accessory for the Hakko 936 I got off the net to control the temperature of my soldering projects instead of the usual iron rod. I was a bit hesitant as there are a number of other cheaper non-branded options for such a basic option. I decided to jump on it and I'm so glad I did. It's well made and will hold a wide range of irons including my 936, a basic Radio Shack iron and a soldering iron. However, it's not big enough for my Weller 8100-B soldering iron. Also, I didn't notice the holder getting too hot even when holding the irons, something other models have complained about. It is very practical that the handpiece cleaner is also in the holder. So it doesn't slip when you press on it with the tip. Overall very happy with it. It is worth buying a good accessory.
