The best way to create a vacuum

This is the best way! I don't use anything else to create a vacuum. These are the only vacuum valve core pullers I know of. I use 2 of these and attach a 1/2" hose with a 1/4" fitting to the very back where the damper exits. The other end of the tubing I use has a 3/8 fitting that I connect directly to the TEE on my vacuum pump. I do the same on the other side. No gauges, no restrictions. The 1/4 side fitting on the suction side I connect directly to my micrometer and the 1/4 side fitting on the liquid line connects to a hose to my refrigerant bottle. So when I pull the vacuum, I'm pulling it to the coolant tank. When my vacuum is complete, I close the ball valves and open my cooling tank to add positive pressure to the system without contamination. I can now replace my shredder valves with a positive pressure device. This is how I can pull a vacuum below 300 microns in 15 minutes on a full 3 ton system!

Pros
  • Double o-ring ball valve seal for accurate vacuum testing
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging
