My wife wrote: I wasn't sure I liked the pleated skirt but it's growing on me. The black and yellow floral pattern is really beautiful. There is quality material and tailoring. The material of the skirt is a bit see-through, but there is a lining underneath. The black elastic at the waist looks good enough to double as a belt (in my opinion). I've tried tucking and smoothing my shirt with it and it definitely looks better tucked in. My only complaint is that the pleats go all the way to the top making the thigh area look a little "fluffier" than it really is. but my husband says it doesn't look bad. I'm 5ft, 120lbs and usually wear a size small. The little one in this skirt fits me perfectly and is a nice modest length. It washes well on delicate linen and hangs to dry. In general I am satisfied.
