Review on Improved SEO: Rite Lite LPL623WRC LED Pivot & Swivel Puck Light by Jennifer Wible

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I think they're great for my purposes

Firstly I don't have these lamps yet. I have over a dozen Rite Lites with and without light sensors, gray and white. I find them great for my purposes. Batteries last quite a long time when I think about turning them off and using rechargeable NiMH AAA. No battery powered flashlight will last very long if you leave it on for hours. I use them to light up the inside of my closet and the closet around my computer tower when I need to access something. They're on maybe 5 minutes at a time and they're bright enough. Without them I can't tell what color shirt I'm getting or find the front USB port on my computer. If you need under counter accent lighting or decorative lighting, you'd better use hardwired lighting. With them, you'll be changing batteries every few days. Eventually I'll have to test how many hours they last. However, it's pretty easy to do the math. Typical eneloop AAA batteries have a capacity of 800 mAh. 3 x 1.4 V batteries supply approx. 10 Wh of energy. I've seen rating differences, but if the LEDs are rated at 0.4W they should last 25 hours. Update 5 January 2016 I bought 3 of these and I don't like them. They are not like my others and not as shown and described here. Firstly, there are 3 LEDs, not 5. Secondly, they are very warm white, not bright white. I prefer bright white, I'm not trying to create a mood here, I'm illuminating a dark area. I could live with three LEDs because they seem almost as bright, but I'd like to bring back those warm whites and find bright whites. I haven't found it yet.
