I liked this cable. Heavy duty and can take abuse. I bought the 150ft version and it works very well with outdoor POE cameras. /HOWEVER/ - Most outdoor IP cameras are equipped with a waterproof connection. You cannot connect through this RJ45 end. This means you either have to cut the RJ45 off the side of the camera or crimp a new one. Provided you have the tools and know-how to use a waterproof muff. If you don't have tools or care about them, you can essentially trim the green plastic casing around the RJ45 until you can finally fit a waterproof sleeve over it. It's a big problem and when you have a lot of cameras like I do, it's a huge waste of time. At the same time I tried a different brand cable, also here on amazon.com, with the same specs. This brand had a soft rubber cover around the RJ45 and this cover could be slid away from the RJ45 leaving enough room for a watertight connection. This other brand was quick, safe and painless. If you don't use waterproof ferrules and don't mind cutting and swapping the RJ45, then this is a great cable.
