Really great knife set. I'm by no means a professional chef, but I do enjoy buying quality kitchenware that will last and get the bill. Expensive sure but very well made and I expect them to last for decades with proper care. I'm attaching a photo of what's included as it's not in the description. You will receive 4 steak knives, 1 chef's knife, 1 carving knife, 1 utility knife, 1 paring knife, 1 bread knife, 1 sharpening rod, 1 kitchen scissors, 1 knife block. There are two additional empty slots on the knife block if you wish to add them to the set. Well balanced and feels good in the hand. Wusthof offers professional knife sharpening for $4 per knife plus shipping to Connecticut. Personally I think it's a great price to keep them in tip-top shape and only needs to be done once or twice a year if you sharpen frequently and depending on how heavily they're used. I think this particular set offers the best value for money while still offering a good selection of knives. I can absolutely recommend it as a gift or for your own kitchen.
