I hear no negative comments about these goats. A lifelong carpenter in my 60's I have used or built hundreds of gantry kits, some better than others but they top the list for durability and portability. I inherited the first set about 10 years ago, they were well used when I got them and are still in use today. Aside from the lack of color, they work just as well as before. The only maintenance they ever get is a small amount of oil on their joints. I decided to buy a second pair to use as a painting station. I installed them with 12ft 2x4 rims and a sand finish etc on them. You can paint/dry a ton of stuff in a 12 foot span. When the new ones arrived the boxes went through the mill, torn in places, dented in places, but the legs were in good condition and luckily all the nuts and bolts were in place. If a few fasteners got lost in transit, I'd just go to one of the many cans or jugs in my garage and get replacements rather than leaving a negative comment about it. You won't find a more versatile goat set from the USA. Expensive? yes, but buy once, cry once I always say.
