Suitable for SMALL animals

I bought this to keep small kittens. It worked 1/2 day as the most curious kittens could jump up and crawl over it. I liked how easy it was to assemble and the variety of design options. I would like the sides to be a little higher, maybe with the possibility of installing a gate. I don't think it will be strong enough to hold puppies. Overall I'm glad I bought this and will be using it for smaller kittens in the future as my first litter.
