Review on Anpviz 5MP PoE IP Dome Camera - Outdoor Night Vision 98ft, Motion Alert, Weatherproof IP66 Indoor/Outdoor, Wide Angle 2.8mm Lens by David Burns

This is the second camera I have received from Anpviz and like the first it has good picture quality and nice sound. Installation is relatively easy as you are provided with a drilling template (sticker) to drill the mounting holes. However, caution is advised here, because the bottom of the camera housing with the built-in microphone must be unscrewed during installation. The wires from this part go straight to the main camera unit (the second part of the body). Without precautions, it's possible to damage the microphone cables (I wish Anpviz had made longer cables so users could slide the two pieces far apart, which would definitely help with installation). As with my first camera, I tweaked the settings a bit to get the full potential of the 5MP resolution. The default settings don't give the best results, but once adjusted, the quality is pretty good! I really like that the microphone is hidden deeper in the case on this version, which offers good protection from the wind. I am satisfied with the camera and will use Anpviz products in the future.
