Review on Le Creuset LM 250L-31 🍷 Professional Lever Corkscrew - Enhanced for SEO by Robert Wood

This corkscrew is easy to use and works well. The problem is that the "screw" part wears out. It goes from smooth Teflon to not smooth - and then the block doesn't work at all. I'm not sure if there is a replacement screw for this model. The only replacement parts advertised as La Creuset in Revain are $40 and are for a different model. My advice: buy another brand and choose a brand based on the availability/package of spare screws. The patent for this design expired a few years ago, so there are multiple sources. If anyone can point me to compatible replacement screws I would be grateful. But some products of the same design cost less than $40, so I will not replace the screw at such an unreasonable price.
