This material is magical. I got the old stains out of the parka that my mom couldn't part with and now it looks brand new again. I used it on tomatoes and wine drops on a white shirt. There's always a bottle on hand for life's little unexpected blobs. I noticed negative reviews, maybe they didn't read the instructions. I've used this on both light and dark subjects. Cotton, synthetics and blends. Be sure to follow all instructions. For best results, always pat dry with a white towel. I use an all white paper towel. Soaking is key and should be done before washing. Use cold water if you want to rinse and repeat blotting. Be patient and do it right. If the item came out of the wash still stained, do not tumble dry it! The stain is permanently fixed by the heat. Repeat the blotting process and rinse again in cold water.
