Pet Hair Removal Product Comparison

I have purchased several different products and will share my reviews of each here for those who wish to compare purchases. I have always been a pet owner but recently adopted a terrier. White hair, short, coarse, clinging to EVERYTHING. I've never had as many problems with pet hair as I do now. I needed serious help removing hair from my leather sofa, bedding and clothes. Sweepa Duo Rubber Brush: This worked best on my couch. It was a little labor intensive, at least for me, because the animal hair had grown into the skin. We have a large department so I wrapped myself up while I wiped down the sides, back and seat of the sofa and it took about 30 minutes. I've tried a number of other products before, and even the homemade latex glove trick, to no avail. While the hair on the couch was still there, this remedy provided the most relief. 2 Pack Fur Zapper Pet Hair Remover: I wanted to love this but it just didn't work for me. Now I see the same amount of hair on the clothes as before I bought it. I've also followed the advice of putting dirty clothes in the dryer for a few minutes before washing to "loosen up" pet hair. After that, I found some pet hair in the lint filter, but not enough in my opinion to take that extra step. Delomo Pet Grooming Glove: Our dogs really enjoyed grooming this glove and got rid of a lot of hair. two of you. It was nice to see it detach from the glove instead of floating around my house so this product is a keeper! Gonzo Pet Hair Lifter Sponge: It worked best on my clothes. Terrier hair can get caught in the material and make it difficult to pull out. My rolls of tape would go that far. I would leave the house 75% hairless. This sponge has really lifted a lot of hair that got stuck in sweaters. I have noticed that after a few strokes, the hair removed with the sponge is transferred back to the sweater. I was having a hard time separating the hair from the sponge until I tried this. After a few passes with the sponge, I took my roll of tape and ran it over the sponge to gather the hair onto it, then came back. to my sponge sweater and repeat. I have yet to find a product that works effectively on multiple surfaces. If anyone has a suggestion, please share! But I am satisfied with the sofa rubber brush, the pet grooming glove and the clothes lifter. I wouldn't buy a fur zapper again.
