Very good set of robust diffused neo pixels with JST SM 3 connectors (data input socket, daisy chain socket for more compatible neo pixels ). I ran them on 5V, either from a dedicated 5V, 2 amp, 2.1mm power supply plugged into the wall, or from a USB hub with USB 2. You can use them with a small conventional LED lighting controller or control them by a computer or microprocessor. Only one GPIO pin is required. Use a separate 5V power supply for the lighting when using a 3.3V logic-level microcontroller like the Raspberry Pi Pico. They can handle 3.3V, but I think the spec says a minimum of 3.7V. Neo pixels can draw a lot of power when used with certain colors at maximum intensity. So I use a dedicated 5VDC power supply with at least 2 amps and up to 10 amps for large LED matrix displays.
