I recently bought a girls sparkly velvet dress for my daughter's upcoming Christmas party. While the dress is undeniably gorgeous, there were a few issues that prevented me from giving it a higher rating. At first the size seemed small. My daughter usually wears a size 6-7 but the dress was tight around her chest and arms. Also, the ruffled collar was too high and stiff, which made my daughter a bit uncomfortable. On a positive note, the dress is made from a gorgeous shiny velvet material that feels luxurious. The color (red) is also very bright and festive. Overall I would recommend the Kids Girl Shiny Velvet Dress for its cute design and high quality material. However, I would caution buyers to go taller and don't forget the stiff ruffled collar.
