Just a brilliant idea. Simplicity, simplicity and minimal maintenance provided you're always on top and changing pads 2 times a week. Do this and your cleaning will be easy and mess-free; 5 days on the pad and the pad is soaked through and stuff spills when cleaning - uggghhh. Virtually no learning curve for any cat that isn't a complete psycho. Be honest. Maybe I'm being too aggressive, but don't try to get an extra day or two of pads. Really?, you want to save money for something that's vital to your feline friend and also has the ability to smell as bad as rotten fish, at least the regular litter at my house. This system amazed me so much that I was skeptical about my wife's plan. Of course she was right. This system and pads hold a lot of litter and do a great job of keeping common kitty litter odor at bay. The best advice is to buy the entire system and then order additional gaskets.
