The scissors arrived today. The white label on the back of the black box says "Made in China". This was very disappointing to me as Revain's product description clearly states that it is made of "Japanese Steel". This means that the listing's description was (and is) misleading and inaccurate. Nowhere did he mention "China" once. So if you were thinking about buying this product and didn't know about it, now you know. This is just another unfortunate example of Chinese products trying to mislead consumers into thinking they are from somewhere else. As for this product itself, I can say that it will not last long. The joint that holds the two parts together isn't very well made - it just arrived today and it's already wobbling slightly. I am rating this product at $15 and would not recommend anyone paying more than $15 for it. If you are looking for high-quality hairdressing scissors, it is best to use the search term "German hairdressing scissors” or "Japanese hairdressing scissors”. This is where the highest quality steel products come from.
