Nice Knife: Kitchen & Dining

My husband loves collecting chef's knives, the more interesting the better and right out of the box we both thought it was beautiful and very unique. More importantly, it cuts really well, has a nice, super-sharp edge, and cuts through anything with ease. The dark forged finish on the blade is attractive but we both found that when you hold it properly it's not as comfortable as some because of this cobblestone as they couldn't smooth out those top edges and it feels a bit sharp and doesn't as comfortable as some of the company's knives with rounded, smooth edges that feel better in the hand. I also personally found the wrought iron design to be a bit dark for my liking, although my husband liked it. It's slightly blacked out in design and I could see it being attractive to a man as it looks quite masculine. The balance on it is really good, the weight is perfectly distributed and in that respect it feels great. The grip is nice and feels solid, but we did find that the silver base (the little silver cap at the end) isn't quite perfectly aligned and therefore feels a bit sharp if you run your hand across it while holding it feel edge. But overall this is a great knife and a nice addition to Hubby's collection. It is priced very cheaply and if you give it away, the recipient will think it is much more expensive than it actually is. It comes in beautiful packaging and the knife itself comes with a small sturdy black plastic case. I love it so much I'm buying another one for my son-in-law.
