Loved my little Pomsky who is only 18 pounds. Had no problems with that. She never got out of the river again. Love the two straps and the velcro closure at the bottom. Kept her perfectly safe. My little one can swim but on a 5 knot river I wanted to give her a good head start. That's exactly what happened. While kayaking she jumped into the river, swam around me and jumped back. Just one thing: I wish she had a way to stay afloat. After a while she started shaking her head in the water. As if she were exhausted. I'm thinking of building something like a mini head raft to attach to a vest. If this company can come up with something like that. It would be a bestseller
