I bought it as a sleeping bag, clothes and pillow for motorcycle riding off-road. I really wanted to make sure all of these things stayed dry. I was skeptical though because I usually feel like you get what you pay for and I think it's only around $50. But I have to say - we drove through the BIGGEST storm I've ever been in with thunder and lightning all around us and raindrops that looked like a catholic nun's ruler smacking my fingers. Flooded streets and all - we WET! But even at 80 km/h not a single drop of water got into the bag. I am very impressed and very glad I bought it!
